Welcome to Shepherd Sam’s Farm!
Shepherd Sam’s Farm is an intentional Christian education ministry dedicated to helping children and families grow in faith through biblical storytelling and Christian encouragement.
My name is Dave Laton, and I have spent many years serving in ministry, teaching the Bible, writing books and devotionals, and encouraging people to discover, sustain, or regain hope through Jesus Christ. Along the way, I discovered that some of life’s greatest lessons are often found in the simplest moments.
Shepherd Sam’s Farm was created from a desire to share God’s love with children and families through wholesome stories, memorable characters, and everyday experiences. We believe the farm is a place where faith can grow, hope can flourish, and hearts can be gently pointed toward Jesus.
Whether you’re listening to a podcast, reading a story, meeting our farm friends, or simply visiting the farm for a few minutes, we’re honored you’ve stopped by. We hope every visit leaves you encouraged and reminds you that God is present in the ordinary moments of life.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help children and families discover God’s love through engaging stories that teach biblical truth, encourage kindness, inspire hope, and strengthen faith.
We believe every child is precious to God and that ordinary moments can become extraordinary opportunities to learn about His love. Through the adventures of Shepherd Sam, Baxter, and all their farm friends, we seek to plant seeds of faith that will continue growing for years to come.
Our prayer is that children will leave Shepherd Sam’s Farm smiling, families will find meaningful moments to share together, and hearts of every age will be drawn a little closer to Jesus.
